Our chief naval engineer Ali Tandoğan started to work on commercial ships after graduating from Istanbul Technical University Marine Machinery Management Engineering with the first rank in 1999. From 1999 to April 2004, he worked as the 3rd, 2nd and chief engineer on many ships of UND RO-RO operations. During the time he worked on the ship, he paid attention not to disconnect with the land, and even designed and produced and marketed machine revision workbenches to facilitate the maintenance of vehicle engines.
I started working as an external purchasing engineer in the Auxiliary Companies Group in May 2004, was promoted to purchasing technical coordinator in May 2006 and to external purchasing manager in May 2007. During this duty, the establishment and management of Shipyard warehouses, 10,000 DWT Chemical Tankers, 6,000 DWT Cement ship, 9,000 DWT Cement ship, 3.500 DWT Chemical Tankers, 30 T Tugboat, 17,000 DWT Chemical Tankers, 3,900 DWT Bunker Tankers and 9,800 DWT Container ships. Over time, he performed delivery date management for the equipment ordered, bank loan studies on project basis, payment settlements, delivery of the ships coming to the delivery stage to their shipowners, equipping and crisis management tasks.
He left his position in Auxiliary Shipbuilding as of the beginning of 2010, due to the fact that shipbuilding was completely halted due to the effect of the crisis. As Omsan Logistics decided to enter marine logistics, he started to work as Technical Manager and Fleet Manager in Omsan Shipping in March 2010. During his tenure at Omsan Denizcilik, the establishment of the Maritime Company, the physical examination of a total of 52 dry cargo and pneumatic cement ships worldwide, preparation of examination presentations, ship feasibility studies, trial sailing with the ships to be purchased, purchase of the ships, technical works after the delivery of the ships and He performed his duties in managing procurement affairs, establishing maritime purchasing, managing shipyard processes. He also provided technical support to Oyak Group Ports Erdemir, İsdemir, Aslan Çimento, Ünye Çimento, Çayeli Çimento and Mangalia Çimento. After receiving an offer from Umur Group in 2018, he started to work as Fleet Manager at Bright Shipping. During the course of the study, establishment of Maritime procurement, operation of 8 8000 DWT ships, establishment and operation of a workshop that will carry out all the maintenance of these ships and shipyard processes and serve other companies, planning and executing all shipyard processes and closing accounts, operating and personnel affiliated to it. Established the ArtTechnic company as of 2021 and aimed to provide direct service to its customers with its professional team.
